Shooter on the Loose in Melbourne

This week started with a bang (more like bangs) with a fatal shooting in the CBD, corner of William St and Flinders Ln! The shooter opened fire at point blank range at 3 victims, killing one and severely injured the others! The dead was actually a good Samaritan trying to help the female victim. An innocent life lost trying to help the victim. The bullets would have gone astray and resulted in more sufferings. It would have been someone's friends and relatives.

It just proves to us that life is so short and unpredictable. We should make the most and best out of it. Carpe Diem...........

On another sad news, I was informed that a good friend's only parent just passed away recently of cancer. He now lost both his parents within the 5 years (my guess). It's very unfortunate but such is life. At least, they are now at a better place. On a comforting note, both my friend and his elder brother are quite successful in their careers and can fend for themselves.
